AI, Architecture & Leadership: Adapting to Change

Have you ever thought about the world before ChatGPT and AI? The one where we didn’t have to worry about the future of IT and our jobs? 😂 I keep thinking about it and I’m amazed not only at how dramatically things have changed in two years but also at how the pace of change has increased to the point that every article I write on the topic is obsolete within a few days.

Literally, my latest article required an update just one day after I published it. 😭

Beyond the tech itself, there’s industry pressure—leaders like Mark Zuckerberg and Marc Benioff openly say that AI will replace mid-level software engineers or reduce hiring needs. The reality (and maybe hope)? AI is a powerful tool, but the role of developers is shifting rather than vanishing.

This is why I'm focusing heavily on AI from the start of the year and trying to provide as much insight as possible. I'm currently subscribed to ChatGPT Plus, Google One AI Premium, Perplexity Pro, GitHub Copilot Pro, and a few other tools for image and video processing. My goal is to keep using them extensively so that I can give you tips and maybe save you the effort and cost of having to try them all.

As part of this effort, I'm also changing the format of my email newsletter. While I'll keep publishing my blog posts and videos as I always have, I'll do my best to maximize your exposure not only to my content but also to other articles, news, and technologies by listing links to things I've read or tried with a very short description.

I'll try to get back to you every two weeks to a month. Let me know if you like the idea or have any suggestions. 💪
